Hmmm new socks, don’t you just love putting on a new pair of fresh clean brand spanking new socks?

Today 5.5.11 The famous radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles was talking about how much he enjoys that feeling of putting on a fresh pair of high quality mens socks.
And you know what? I have to agree. Yeah im sure there are people out there who will tell you there are more enjoyable things in life such as;
Seeing your new born child for the first time
Stepping on to the surface of the moon
Eating a ltr of Ben and Jerrys ice cream
Passing your driving test
Falling in love
But if your really honest with yourself then you too will realise that the pleasure to be had by putting on a new fresh pair is unequalled by anything that can be found on this planet or on the surface of the moon. Its the best thing in the cosmos
Everybody loves the feeling of putting on a new pair of socks, that new sock feeling is magical and one that is enjoyed the world over, but do you ever stop to think where on earth do those new socks come from?
OK this isn’t going to be easy for you, but its time you knew the truth about where new socks come from.
Lets try paint the picture for you, you get a pair of fresh new socks, you put them on and wear them as your preferred pair non stop, you and socks make a special bond – its OK it happens to everyone until one day, one horrible day you go to your sock drawer and to your own horror your pair of new socks is now just a single new sad lonely sock.
We are humans are programmed hard wired if you will to get over this situation quickly, we look under the bed, in the tumble dryer and then call our mums, sometimes we get lucky and the missing sock is found but 99.9999% of the time the sock cannot be found at this stage rather than face the truth we simply put on a pair of old socks and go about our day. And for each day our sun rises and we have to put on a pair of socks we simply move the single sock to one side and put on an older pair of socks, sometimes our subconscious matches single socks with other other single socks, but we never stop to let in the truth.
I’m finding it hard to the moment and our studies have shown that this truth should be drip fed in order to minimise the enviable emotional outcome once the truth is learned.
